4-Year-Old Boy Fatally Sacrificed in Horrific Human Sacrifice Ritual, Four Arrested in Amethi Traged

Amethi, Uttar Pradesh June 15,2023 : A tragic incident unfolded in the village of Rehsi in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, where a four-year-old boy was allegedly killed in a ritual sacrifice. The stepmother, who had experienced a miscarriage, was reportedly convinced that sacrificing a child would enable her to bear a child of her own. The police have arrested four individuals, including the stepmother and an occultist, in connection with the case.

The incident came to light when the missing child, identified as Satyendra, was discovered near a pond in Rehsi village on Monday. Satyendra's father, Jitendra Prajapati, had lodged a missing complaint the previous day after the boy failed to return home from his playtime.

The investigation led the police to suspect the involvement of Jitendra's wife, Renu, her parents Mangru Prajapati and Prema Devi, as well as an occultist named Dayaram Yadav. Mangru and Prema Devi revealed during interrogation that their daughter, Renu, had been married to Jitendra around a year-and-a-half ago. Satyendra was Jitendra's son from his previous marriage.

Renu had been suffering from frequent illnesses after her marriage and had also experienced a miscarriage. In their quest to address Renu's health concerns, her parents sought the assistance of occultist Dayaram Yadav. According to their account, the occultist informed them that the sacrifice of Jitendra's first child was necessary for Renu to conceive successfully.

The police recovered various items associated with occult practices, such as a towel, lemons, and nutmegs, from the burial site. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
