The five guarantees, which aim to benefit various sections of society, are as follows:

1. Gruha Jyothi: This scheme will provide 200 units of free electricity per month to every household starting from July 1. However, customers will be required to pay any outstanding arrears.

2. Gruha Lakshmi: Under this scheme, every woman head of a family will receive a monthly assistance of ₹2,000. Applications for the scheme can be submitted online from June 15 to July 15, and the amount will be deposited in the beneficiaries' bank accounts from August 15.

3. Anna Bhagya: Starting from July 1, all below-poverty-line (BPL) and Antyodaya cardholders will receive 10 kg of rice per person.

4. Shakti: This scheme offers free travel for women in ordinary public transport buses within Karnataka, excluding AC and luxury buses. It will be implemented from June 11, with 50% of seats reserved for men and the remaining for women.

5. Yuvanidhi: Unemployed graduates and diploma holders in the age group of 18-25 who completed their education in 2022-23 will receive a monthly unemployment dole of ₹3,000 and ₹1,500, respectively, for a period of 24 months from the date of registration. The dole will be discontinued if the individual finds employment during this period.

The Congress government estimates that the implementation of these schemes will cost approximately ₹50,000 crore annually. The cabinet's decision to fulfill these guarantees reflects the party's commitment to its election promises.

Siddaramaiah emphasized that these schemes will be implemented without any discrimination based on caste or religion. The government aims to ensure the welfare and upliftment of all sections of society through these initiatives.

The implementation details and application processes for each scheme will be made available to the public in the coming days. With the roll-out of these poll guarantees, the Congress government aims to deliver on its promises and improve the lives of the people of Karnataka.
