Nirmala Sitharaman's Daughter Ties the Knot in Intimate Ceremony Sans Political Leaders

In a private and intimate ceremony, Parakala Vangamayi, the daughter of Nirmala Sitharaman, exchanged vows with her partner Prateek in Bengaluru. The wedding, held at their residence, was a modest affair attended by close friends and family members. Notably, no political leaders were extended invitations, as reported by the media.

Following the traditional Brahmin customs, the wedding took place under the guidance of seers from the Udupi Adamaru Mutt, who blessed the couple. The sacred rituals were conducted in accordance with the Vedic order of Adamaru Mutt.

Vangamayi, who currently works in the Books and Culture section of Mint Lounge's features department, previously served as a features writer for The Hindu. She holds a master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern Medill School of Journalism.

Videos that have gone viral captured the bride, Vangamayi, wearing a pink saree, while the groom, Prateek, donned a white shawl and pancha. Nirmala Sitharaman was seen elegantly dressed in a blue saree with a vibrant orange blouse.
