Anurag Kashyap Attends Cannes Film Festival 2023 for World Premiere of "Kennedy"


May 21, 2023: Renowned Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has arrived in France to showcase his latest film, "Kennedy," at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival 2023. Kashyap took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to share a photo of himself and fellow filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane striking a pose on the red carpet. The duo attended the premiere of "Killers of the Flower Moon," a highly anticipated movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

In the snapshot, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane can be seen donning stylish black tuxedos, exuding elegance on the red carpet. Anurag, in his excitement, captioned the photo with words of anticipation, "Wo aa gaya!!! WO AA GAYA. Meri film ke liye WO AA GAYA," which translates to "He has arrived! HE HAS ARRIVED. He has arrived for my film." Initially shared by Vikramaditya on his Instagram stories, the picture garnered attention from fans and industry colleagues alike.

Meanwhile, Vikramaditya Motwane shared glimpses of the standing ovation received by Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon" at the Cannes film festival. Through a series of close-up pictures, Vikramaditya showcased Martin Scorsese, as well as the acclaimed actors Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. Additionally, he shared a video capturing the audience's enthusiasm during the premiere, as well as a snippet from the opening of the film.

Both Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap have made their presence felt at Cannes, promoting their film "Kennedy." The movie has been selected for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival Midnight Screening in 2023.
